Jet Fuel Steel Pipelines for Safe Aviation Fuel Transport

Our solution for kerosine pipeline systems

Van Leeuwen supplies piping systems for the storage and distribution of kerosene (jet fuel). This piping includes carbon steel pipes, fittings, flanges and other components that are additionally protected. Steel pipes and components used for this purpose often need to be externally coated with polyethylene (PE) or epoxy. Internally, both pipes and components are often additionally lined with an epoxy coating specifically designed to meet the strictest industry requirements.

Applications

Kerosine pipelines are used for transport. These can be downstream from the refinery to the airport, to storage tanks and as underground distribution pipelines from storage tanks to various gates.

Additional treatments

By applying special coatings and linings, the materials are long-term (underground) resistant to corrosion and wear during the flow of kerosene and other fuels. The applied treatments comply with international safety and quality standards specified in Def Stan 80-97 and additional requirements in section 3 of EI1541. These treatments guarantee long-term performance in demanding environments.
